Some of his film projects have included work with lighting, special effects, and props on such films as "Rift" and "Tales from the Other Side," among others. But before you think Shawn is all about special effects, realize that he has had a passion for the paranormal for over 15 years and is also a part-time ghost hunter. Having explored such haunted locales as the Queen Mary, Linda Vista Hospital and several private residences, the paranormal is not unknown to him and he has gathered his own collection of actual paranormal images. In his spare time, Shawn enjoys combining his passion for ghost hunting with special effects techniques and presenting works that inspire awe, curiosity, fear and dread in others. Like myself and many of our visitors, Shawn highly respects modern-day ghost hunting principals, but still enjoys cutting loose and likes to have fun! Therefore, as a special treat, Shawn submits to you both actual paranormal clips AND images he created in his spare time employing his special effects talents. The game is for you to determine which images are real and which are not. Only he knows which is which and promises to reveal the truth about each image when the time is right. You may even learn a little about photography, lighting and special effects as we go. So hone your skills as an investigator, have fun and enjoy the creepy works of Shawn of the Dead!
