I agree with you on that. The remake was terrible!!! The original B&W was scary and the filmmakers were ahead of their time for the effects they were using back then.

I've seen it a million times!! by: Brenda
I like it, too. Some of the lines I even had memorized at one time. But it's been awhile since I've seen it. Maybe I should rent it again. The one scary thing that stands out is when she is looking at her boyfriend and her face changes to a skeleton or something. That was scary. I love those kinds of movies--they don't use hacking, slicing and dicing, to scare people. So I agree, it's up there on my list, too. By I think my all-time fav is the original "The Haunting." It's all spookiness (although the remake was awful).

Ghost Story by: Shawn of the Dead
Yes, Brenda. That's the one. The one and only classic! It's just as scary as when it was made.
It's #1 one my list of scary films.

Hi Shawn! by: Brenda-Webmaster
When you say "Ghost Story," are you talking about the movie with Fred Astaire? The one where the girl was accidentally "killed" by the three college buddies, then put in a car which was driven into the lake, only for us to find out she wasn't really dead? But they drown her anyway? Is that the one you're talking about?
