A Spell Gone Bad
by Lucky 13
Not Happy!
Sorry I haven't been here for awhile. I have a good excuse. I have been involved in a mishap.
You see...I was assisting Amy, my witch, in creating a magic potion. Can't tell you what it was to be used for, or I might get into some trouble.
I can tell you that when the recipe calls for a pinch of an ingredient, you better add a pinch. No more, no less. The results can be hair raising to say the least. I got the worst impact of the good spell gone bad, as you can see above.
All I can say is kids, don't be trying any spells or potions at home.

Meeeeeeoooooowwwwwwwwwww

Ooooohhhh what a puuuuuuuuufect evening it has turned out to be. I found my way back to boospace. I am sorry for not being around here in soooo long. I've been out, let's say ...catting around. Meeeeow!!!
Since I've been here last, we've added a new kitten to the family. It's a grey tabby cat. She was a rescue kitty. Saved her from possible coyotes wandering at night, for a delicious snack. She's so puuuuuuurrrrrty. We have to watch her closely, though as she loves to get into trouble around here. And she likes to bite my tail, so always on alert.
Anyways, I hope that everyone is having lot's of fun this summer, and obedience school, will be starting again soon, so you little pups better get ready.

Southern Cookin' at it's Best

Here’s a great ole’ southern recipe handed down from my great grandmother.
Road Kill Stew
First, you need to find the freshest road kill you can. The fresher the better. Possum would be the kill of choice but rabbit or any other kritter would work nicely.
It needs to be skinned and cleaned and chopped into bite size pieces if you have enough actual meat to have a bite-size.
Add some beef broth to a large sauce pan and bring to a boil. Add your kill meat.
Salt and pepper to taste. Next, you will want to add some veggies. Fresh, chopped up polk salad would be great, some kudzu, dandelion stems, some root veggies. If you have a carrot or two, celery, and green onions, wild one’s taste even better. Add all this to the boiling kill meat then turn on low to allow to simmer. Salt and pepper to taste.
Allow to cook all afternoon to insure you get rid of all the E-coli left in the kill, or until nice and tender. Serve hot with some goat's milk cornbread and a tall glass of shine.
Ummmmmm MMmmmm this will really get your mouth to watering once you start smelling it while it’s cooking.
Bon A petite RhapSody

Here is one of my favorite recipes passed down to me by my boss, the witch.
Black Mold Brownies
4 cups of black Mold 1 cup of sludge 1/2 cup of swamp water dry leaves, crumbled, and to taste have some extras for next recipe. And for that extra bit of crunch, juicy in shell beetles (optional). I prefer black beetles.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 mins. or until thick, and pull from edges.
Salamander Pee Tea is the perfect drink to go with this dessert. The recipe for that follows:
Stew some of the dry leaves left over from the above recipe in Salamander pee and serve warm or cold. Goes puuuuuurfectly with a mushroom wedge (instead of lemon)--hehe.

Willard Library
by Lucky13
his Kitty will be spending a part of this weekend at the famous haunted Willard Library on an overnight visit!! Keep me in your thoughts and keep your fingers crossed that my cat-like instincts help me catch something on film video, or recorder. I can tell you right now, that if I catch something on my camera, it will NOT be something that has been messed with on Photoshop or any other site that will change the contents of pictures. It will be 100% original photos and I dare anyone to say differently. Remember I haven't been declawed.
If you are interested in seeing an overnight ghost hunt on live cameras, log onto www.willardghost.com (site run by the library and it's employees)and www.libraryghost.com (site ran by Evansville Courier Press newspaper)around 11pm CST on Sat. Oct. 20th.
