Wow, it's been almost a year since I've written this. Anyway, I've come sporting updates, in case anyone is interested (which I doubt anyone is :P). Well firstly, we never got around to the EVPs. I might set up some cameras sometime though.

And as of late, I haven't seen either of the maybe-occupants of my house. But I have had a few new odd things happen that I feel compelled to share.

The first one has to do with the light switch for my closet light. I always make sure it's turned off before I go to bed, but lately I've been waking up in the middle of the night and it's been on.

I've also been hearing a lot of voices as have the other members of my family; there seems to be a male one and a female one. There's a lot of just sighing and huffing and nonsensical noise, but I'll also hear random words every now and then, like 'but' or 'she', which really make no sense. My mother, however, claims that she woke out of a dead sleep in the middle of the night and heard a one-sided conversation that was a female talking, as if the person was on a phone. She assumed it was my sister, so she was going to tell her to get off the phone, but when she thought about going to do just that, the voice stopped. My sister had been asleep that night.

Another new one happened when one of my friends came to spend the night. We were asleep in bed, but we soon woke up when we heard the door creak open (it had never done that before, and it had been closed all the way). It happened slowly, and we were expecting to see my father checking in on us, but there was no one there. ...Aww man, it's making me freaked out just talking about it.

That's pretty much it, I may come back and post again of something else major happens.

No, I don't know the history of the land, sadly. All I know is that it used to be a field of weeds. I guess a lot of things can happen in a field. I also have another guest staying in my house (unless the shadow and this new one are the same). He's wearing a white shirt and jeans. One time I was outside and saw him with his back against the fence. Another time, in my room, just for a split second, and then going into my kitchen. He doesn't freak me out for some reason, like the shadow does, so it makes me believe that they are most likely different. Me and a couple of friends will be taking EVPs in the house soon, to see if we can find any evidence to back up either of these ghosts (We're just calling them Dameon and Jack right now).

Do you know the history of the land your house was built on?

If anyone can share some information on how to find this out, that would be great. I know there are public records available. Perhaps that could shed some light on what you're experiencing.
