Cropped and brightened
I love to explore and photograph abandoned houses. There was one particular house I had been interested in for a while, but every time I drove past it, it gave me a very bad vibe. This is only unusual because no other abandoned place I've explored has ever creeped me out at all, and I think it should be said for the sake of this story that I'm not actually afraid of ghosts. But I decided I would need a friend with me when I went into this place.
We didn't stay for long because the energy in there was terrifying. I had goosebumps the entire time. I came home and posted the photos on Facebook to show my friends. In one photo, no less than five friends commented that they thought they saw something. My computer monitor is dark, so I couldn't really tell. Then, someone cropped the photo down for me. I saved it on my computer, brightened it, and was AMAZED at what I saw.
The first photo is the completely unaltered one. The second is the cropped and brightened version. Everyone concurs that it appears to be a man in a 1940s hat, holding/pointing something in his hand, or holding his hand near his face.
Of course, it may just be light trickery or some funny peeling paint. What do you think?
