Ghost Sightings: A12 Jct 15 Chelmsford Essex

I work on nights as a lorry driver I was traveling to Hatfield Ppaverol at 2:20 am tonight. I travel along this route 6 times a night, 5 nights a week. There was no other traffic around when all of a sudden this man appeared from nowhere crossing the A12. He was on my side, directly in front of me.

I slammed on my brakes, but because of the short distance, I hit it head on. There was no blood over my lorry no damage to lorry, in fact there was no one about at all.

He was aged about late 40s/50s wearing old style donkey jacket and he was scrounged up like he was cold. When he looked at me my heart was pounding and I was shaking for about 30mins afterwards.

Over the years as a driver I've heard same kind of accounts all over the UK from other lorry drivers. I have to say it scared me loads.

Sorry to all those who I laughed at. Now I've experienced it for myself can anyone shed any light on this for me please?
