Devil or Smoke

This picture was take about 5 years ago. It is a photo of a blast from a strip-mining job in WV. It was taken by a truck driver who wanted to watch the beginning and ending of the dynamite blast. I use to have several before and after photos of this blast but I cannot locate the rest of my files.

Some people might say that it is too clear of an image to be real. I do not believe that he knew how to fake any photos. This photo was given to me and I cannot verify if is what it appears to be. I am not claming that it is real but I would like some opinions as to what someone else might believe it may be.
