Arreton Manor

The most sighted ghost in this building is that of a little girl. Her father was critically ill and when he died, he was going to leave all of his money, and Arreton Manor to his son (the little girls brother). The boy was so greedy that he smothered his father to death and then killed his sister. She still haunts the building. She is mostly sighted on the main stairs, where she will stand still, stare at you and quickly vanish. She also likes to hold the hands of people who visit the manor and likes appearing in the gardens when a ghost walk is going on. She has been seen standing by the window that she was thrown from by her brother and has been seen running through hedges once or twice in the gardens.
There is also the ghost of a dog that has been heard scampering through the dining hall, and its tail has been heard banging the furniture.
The final ghost is one of a man that has been seen out side the gates of Arreton Manor on stormy nights. He is seen holding a briefcase and his face is completely blacked out. People have opened their car windows offering a ride and he just walks up to them and vanishes.
Arreton Manor is located in the Isle-Of-White.
