I know you are not Camp Schwab anymore but your story is so funny. You are right!!
There is ghost at mess hall but it is not a men or black faceless figure. There is small children and women, yes like a day care. Why black figure run from gym to somewhere else. How you can go inside mess hall no one working yet? Well, like I said "Welcome to Okinawa"

I also served in Ammo Co. I think this "ghost" maybe 1 of the Marines killed while riding in a 5 ton in the late 90's. They were new and riding back from Kinser after reporting in and getting their gear. Ammo Co. barracks (old Camp Henoko) have many ghosts surrounding it. In 2 years I had seen many unexplained things.
