There are quite a few things that have happened to me since I started at this nursing home. We have quite a few tricksters that love to linger in your preferral vision.
I'm a certified nursing assistant and I work the grave yard shift at this particular nursing home. There is one instance that has really unnerved me, though. One of our residents was dying. For three nights in a row when I would go check on her there was a woman sitting in her chair just watching her! But when I would do a double take she was gone! I never got a good look at her, I would only catch a side view because of the angle of the chair
There was also a time when one of our residents died and for about three or four days the call lights went crazy dinging and we couldn't shut them off! It happened close to midnight every night. Well I finally figured out what was going on.
I called out, "Ok mister, I know it's you. This must be your way of saying goodbye. We love you and will miss you very much."
My nurse thought iI was nuts but they quit after a while and havent had trouble with.
So many things happen it's hard to tell about all of them. It's mainly cold spots, or seeing something out of the corner of your eye, or seeing shadows pass.
But it definately is no place to work for the faint of heart!
