Point du Hoc, Normandy

by The Day Brothers
(England)

My brother and I visited Normandy recently and toured the various world war sights. Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery and we were both stunned by the loss of life. On the second day we started with a visit to the German Cemetery and then to Point du Hoc where the ground is still smashed from the boat guns from D Day landings. There were various bunkers and gun sites, which we climbed and investigated. Traveling round them in a counterclockwise direction from the car park we came to the last one we could enter. I had been taking photos all holiday and just as we were about to leave, I thought one more shot and photographed my brother in the entrance and thought no more off it. The next day as we were leaving France at Le Havre I thought I would have a look through the photos and I was shocked to find a white, well-defined image coming through the wall in front off my brother which was not there when I took the photo through the view finder. It made us both shiver.

I will endeavor to post/fix the picture to this email once I have found somebody who can help me do it.

No wayy

Too many pictures like this just proves that a little mist is not a ghost and doesn't make it convincing.

In response to anonymous comment. Glad you like the photo and story but trust me I would not hang about to ask any questions.

Normandy Spirit
by: Anonymous

You have an impressive photo, clearly paranormal. Too bad you didn't have a digital recorder with you so you could ask some questions of this spirit's energy. He may have wished to make his presence known or at least revealed his name to you.

Moved You Over
by: Brenda - Webmaster

Now that we have a photo, I'm moving you here, to the ghost pictures section.

This is much more impressive now that there's a photo.

Great Story
by: Brenda - Webmaster

Hi

To upload a photo, just act as though you're writing a new story. Then click on the upload button and navigate to where your photo is saved on your computer. If it's hard for you to find, you can move it to your desktop first, so when you go to look for it, you can find it easily.

After you upload it, I'll match it up with your story for you.
